Tiếng ViệtOn the morning of December 14, 2021, at the International Convention Center, 11 Le Hong Phong, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, an Open Innovation Conference with the theme “Cooperation for mutual development” took place.
Attending the Conference on behalf of domestic agencies and units were: Mr. Tran Van Tung – Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, representatives of departments under the Ministry of Science and Technology; Corporations, Banks. On the side of international agencies, there were: Ms. Caitlin Wiesen – Chief Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam; Mr. Gal Saf – Economic and Trade Counselor, Embassy of Israel; Mr. Leon Cai – Regional Director, Enterprise Singapore. On the side of Vietcombank, there were: Ms. Phung Nguyen Hai Yen – Deputy CEO.
At the opening of the conference, Mr. Tran Van Tung – Deputy Minister of Science and Technology emphasized that open innovation needs to innovate from thinking to the practical application of scientific research. Corporations, companies support start-up projects to achieve the best results.
The conference listened to the presentations of international delegates, representatives of research agencies, companies, and corporations in many fields such as copyright experience, application, and market development.
Within the framework of the Conference, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) and Viet Lotus Joint Stock Company (Viet Lotus) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to implement Open Innovation Projects to support Vietcombank in realizing its strategic goal of making Vietcombank a leading bank in Vietnam and the region in terms of digital transformation and innovation.
