STARTUP DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC, CHALLENGES, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR VIETNAMESE STARTUPS

On October 04, 2021, Viet Lotus and IDG TekTalk have organized a webinar “Startup during Covid-19 pandemic, challenges, and opportunities for Vietnamese startups”.

The event brought practical values for startups and pointed out the challenges that many startups will face on their journey such as building mindsets, startup methods, business models, market access, product commercialization, legal, intellectual property, etc. Thereby, opening new opportunities for success and encouraging startups to make efforts and choose the right direction to develop business activities.

During the event, Ms. To Thuy Duong – Accelerator Manager, Viet Lotus shared more opportunities to help startups develop to become unicorns. That is the Batch 2021 training program of the Viet Lotus accelerator. With a strong network of major shareholders and successful experts ahead, the program will create a solid stepping stone for startups to expand market access, commercialization, and model development. These are also the positive contributions that Viet Lotus contributes to building Vietnam’s innovative startup ecosystem.

In addition, the discussion also explored many practical comments and useful experiences of experts on starting a business amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
